Whether you are heading out on safari or navigating the urban jungle, I created a new design just for you! Elephants in two bright colors: blue and pink! As always, you can easily customize, add or personalize any text. Most of the items I created are on light blue background for the blue elephants and purple background for the pink elephants but you can also customize the background color. Click the images for more product information and to see the complete line of products which includes apparel, phone cases, gifts for the home, stationery and more.

I've been designing a whole lot of new products lately. The print-on-demand company I work with to produce gifts with my designs, just released these new products: string backpacks! Just in time for spring soccer season! These lightweight 100% nylon bags are perfect to carry all your kids' soccer stuff and can easily be personalized with your child's name. You could even put the coach's name on them for a customized end-of-the-season coach gift. The dimensions of this string backpack are 19.25” x 16.25”.
Being from the Netherlands originally, it is no surprise I love coffee. According to Wikipedia, the Netherlands is the #5 country in the world with the most cups of coffee enjoyed per capita (3.3 cups). If you’re curious which country graces the #1 spot, it is Finland with 4.7 cups. Wow! The United States where I now live, doesn’t appear on the list until spot #25 with 1.6 cups. I have a feeling though that in this corner of the U.S., people are drinking a few more cups but hey, who’s counting?!
I’ve not always been a coffee lover but being a mom, you have to find your energy somewhere to keep up with the kiddos. A couple of weeks ago, I was drawing with my youngest and came up with a cute illustration of a cup of coffee with the word “Yum” written in steam. Since I have nothing against tea or hot chocolate (also yum!), this design will certainly work for all you tea and hot chocolate lovers out there! I recently published this new design on lots of different products. If you own a local coffee shop, please check out the entire product line as you may find a variety of attractive decorations and marketing tools for your shop such as wrapped canvas, kitchen towels, business cards and customized bumper stickers that can easily be personalized with your shop name.
What is your favorite hot drink?
I started a new sketch book this weekend! I love the feeling of those smooth, brandnew pages waiting to be filled with color. In the past, I have always put the date on each page after I make a drawing and worked on just one drawing at a time. I’ve been reading some art journaling books lately and these books encouraged me to draw frequently and on multiple pages at a time. The idea is that you can elaborate on a drawing when you come back to it, adding more detail, layers or texture after looking at it with fresh eyes. So, that’s what I’m going to try to do.
Since I still want to have a sense of when I started the sketch book, I just added the date on the first page and when all the pages are fully illustrated, I will add that date on the last page to show the timeline I worked on this sketchbook.
I purchased the RENDR sketchbook because the pages don’t bleed through. I have not tried to paint in this sketchbook yet but so far my highly saturating Prismacolor markers are not bleeding through so I’m thinking I bought a good one.
Do you keep a sketchbook? Do you draw on one page at a time or enjoy creating on multiple pages at a time?
