I’m excited to have another new design to share with you! This design is elegant in its simplicity, both in shape as well as spring like colors. A simple heart created out of fresh green leaves on a soothing soft blue background will make a lovely design for many special occasions such as a wedding, a bridal shower, an anniversary party, a birthday, a baby shower or even a meaningful gift for Mom’s Day. As always, I start with drawing the design by hand before uploading it digitally.
I have created most of these products with easy templates for customizing items with your personal details. This means you can write the names of the engaged couple on a cake topper for an engagement party for example, simply by dropping their names into the text box and voila, you have a customized, personalized cake topper. Or you can add the date of their wedding onto an ornament. Or highlight the name of your sweet daughter onto a phone case that will make her smile from ear to ear. Anyways, you get the idea. My goal is to make it easy for you to create meaningful gifts to celebrate the happy moments in life with your loved ones. I hope you like the new design and as always, would love to hear from you. Happy spring!
For Throwback Thursday, I decided to dig out some of my old childhood drawings. I have always enjoyed art, drawing, painting, anything creative… I’m so thankful that my parents have saved some of my childhood artwork and that even though I live half a world away from where I grew up, I have some of these pieces of art to remind me of my “roots.” You will see Dutch writing on the early drawings as well as some images that were clearly drawn by a child growing up in Holland.
I want to share some of these drawings with you and hope you will enjoy them.
What was your favorite art activity as a child? Do you still have some of your childhood artwork? Please share!
